LTTE Light Aircrafts Launch An Air Raid On Trincomalee Navy Camp

LTTE light air crafts has dropped two bombs near Trincomalee navy camp this evening. According to the available information LTTE crafts have not succeeded this time also with their lightweight training air planes.
LTTE terrorists has acquired several light weight air crafts which are designed for mainly training purposes. They launched several air attackes on Katunayake, Colombo and Welioya areas but no attempt succeeded.

12 Injured In A Private Bus Accident In Pothupitiya - Wadduwa

A private passenger carrying bus which was plying from Matara to Colombo has been collided with a lorry at Pothupitiya - Wadduwa. According to the avaialble information the driver of the private bus has lost control due to the speed and colided with the lorry.
12 persons have injured including drivers of both vehicles.

First Sri Lankan built DoubleDecker Bus

Micro Cars ltd the automobile manufacturer in Sri Lanka with a vision to provide solution to the transport infrastructure needs of the country launched first ever Sri Lankan built Double Deck Bus branded as "DuoDeck".
The Micro Cars ltd manufactures the Micro Duo deck buses targeting both the local and international markets. The first bus of their production was donated by proprietor of Micro Car Ltd,Dr,Lawrence Perera to President Mahinda Rajapaksa at Temple Trees on August 12th.
