Google Profits Review 4

I completely respect why you would renig your previous review of Google Profits, however, it’s important to note that not all books can cover all aspects of a subject - at least not without becoming a daunting task for the reader.

I find that ebook authors need to find that elusive balance with just the right amount of information without the overload. Though I agree it’s lacking in some points, I believe that the ebook is still beneficial, especially for someone just starting out in the AdWords arena. But, by no means, is it the complete and final resource for AdWords.

I believe that one could start with Google Profits, then graduate to Google Profits (or even Rosalind Gardner’s Super Affiliate Handbook), and then finish up with just about anything by Perry Marshall.

Online Marketing is a continuing process, it’s all about growing and continuing to learn as we grow.

Seagull Members Be Carefull!!!

I have no idea what your experience with adwords is so I'll make this review a little long to cover many areas. First off, in case you didn't know, adwords is a very tough game. Be prepared to loose money. I've been playing around with adwords for about 9 months and I've stumbled onto 3 successful campaigns, but it took me 67 campaigns to find 3 successful ones. With adwords you have to invest alot of time and money. Some people are very successful at it. Barry Stein who is a frequent poster here earns a full time living promoting affiliate products through google adwords. Now that I've gotten the preliminaries out of the way, I'll get on with the review. I just wanted you to understand that adwords is very tough to make money at, but it can be done.

I really enjoyed the ebook and have learned many different things from it. The most important things I've learned from it are: how many clicks to run test campaigns? which countries should you target? which clickbank product categories are the best? when deciding to promote a clickbank product, what should its ranking be within a category? Those are the four most important areas I found from this ebook. The author goes on to talk about click through rates and selecting keywords, but if your familiar with adwords you'll already know most this stuff. The most important part of the ebook is at the very end where he goes through one of his test campaigns. If you go back to his sales letter, he shows a clickbank commission statement for a one week period. Within that statement the commission $14.38 appears 53 times. This is the test campaign he covers in his ebook. He shows you all the changes he made to this campaign during a 7 day period. At the end of the week, he netted $264.28 in profit from this campaign.

If this is the type of information your looking for regarding adwords, then this is the ebook you want. I should let you know theres a lot of adwords information for free on the internet. So you don't neccessarily need to buy this ebook or any other. You can get many of your questions answered just by posting in this forum. But if you don't want to take the time search for answers to your questions, than purchasing an adwords ebook is the way to go. If you decide to purchase the product heres a link you can use.
http://hop.clickbank.net/?kevin22901/wingcube
By the way this is my affiliate link, you don't have to purchase through it, but I thought if my review has help you'd decide to buy the product, then I've earned the commission.

Best of Luck,

Kevin

Sri Lanka begins work on second international airport

WEERAWILA, Sri Lanka, Nov 19, 2006 (AFP) - Sri Lanka's president Sunday marked his first year in office by launching work on a new international airport to handle the giant Airbus A380 airliner and pledging a major new port.

President Mahinda Rajapakse laid the foundation stone for a 125-million-dollar, 4,000-metre (13,200-feet) upgrade to a small airport at Weerawila, which is to become an international terminal by November 2009.

The airport is slated to handle two million passengers a year and will be the second international terminal in the country, where tourism is a mainstay of the economy.

"We are building this second international airport so that A380 planes could land here," Rajapakse said in a nationally-televised ceremony from Weerawila, 260 kilometres (162 miles) south of Colombo by road.

National carrier SriLankan Airlines is around 40 percent owned by Dubai-based Emirates, which has ordered 45 A380 planes, making it the largest single client for the outsized, European-built long-haul jet.

Weerawila is located within Rajapakse's home constituency of Hambantota, which he also pledged to make the country's second major seaport.

Rajapakse said an average of 180 ships pass Hambantota at the southern end of the island, which lies astride the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal, and the government hoped to set up a port there to service them with supplies.

At the ceremony, he said the infrastructure development work would not be curtailed by rising defence spending.

"I will not sell the lie. I will not say that development is not possible because of heavy defence expenditure," Rajapakse said. "We all need to work harder. Ensure economic progress."

Power Failure Hits Sri Lanka

The entire country experienced a total blackout late this evening of 15th of November after a lightning strike tripped a main power line, an official said.

Ceylon Electricity Board General Manager Ranjit Palleperuma said, “A big power line has tripped, we think because of lightning, and it is not an infrastructure problem.” Due to the blackout, the country plunged into darkness for nearly an hour, forcing almost all shops and hotels to use diesel generators where available.

For the last two months, inter-monsoon weather conditions have brought widespread rain and thundershowers with lightning strikes in almost all parts of the country.

Java-Now Open Source

Sun believes deeply in creating communities and sharing innovations and technologies to foster more participation. Today in a historic move, Sun is opening the door to greater innovation by open sourcing key Java implementations—Java Platform Standard Edition (Java SE), Java Platform Micro Edition (Java ME), and Java Platform Enterprise Edition (Java EE)—under the GNU General Public License version 2 (GPLv2), the same license as GNU/Linux.

Sun is now the biggest contributor to the open-source community. Already Sun has released open-source implementations of its Solaris Operating System, NetBeans, Project Looking Glass, Project JXTA, Jini, OpenOffice, OpenSPARC, and Java EE technologies and is continuing on its path to open all of its middleware. By adding a second GPLv2 license to Java EE, which was previously available under the CDDL license through Project Glassfish, Sun is now open sourcing all core Java technologies under the same license.

Through this move, Sun is helping to:

  • Fuel innovation and build broader developer communities by enabling interested Java developers, as well as developers in the GNU/Linux community, to contribute more easily to the evolution of Java technology
  • Drive faster evolution of the Java platform and adoption by new developers and in new markets while ensuring platform quality and flexibility
  • Allow the 5 million Java developers worldwide to leverage platform enhancements and speed time to market for new applications

Sri Lanka appoint Jayawardene World Cup captain

Jayawardene, named Captain of the Year at the recent International Cricket Council awards ceremony, was appointed as a caretaker captain in February after an injury to Marvan Atapattu.

But Jayawardene's outstanding leadership, coupled with Atapattu's decision to opt-out of the forthcoming test series in New Zealand, persuaded the selectors to give him the job on a full-time basis.

"Mahela has done a good job since taking over from Marvan Atapattu and he will continue till the World Cup," Sri Lanka's chairman of selectors Ashantha de Mel told reporters on Monday.

"We are working towards the World Cup and we wanted to ensure that Mahela felt comfortable ahead of the tournament," de Mel added.

Jayawardene thrived as a batsman under the increased responsibility of the captaincy, averaging 62 in test cricket and 46 in one-day cricket.

He also hit test cricket's fourth highest score of 374 during a recent 2-0 win against South Africa.

President: No room for communalism

President Mahinda Rajapaksa declared yesterday that communalism would never be tolerated by his Government.

"We dearly love our Motherland and respect our various communities, but we are in no way racist. We denounce all forms of communalism," President Rajapaksa told the 29th D.A. Rajapaksa memorial ceremony in Tangalle.

"Sisura" scholarships were granted to schoolchildren to mark the occasion.

The President stressed that the Government was not fighting a war, but only retaliating terrorist attacks to defend the Motherland. "We can only wage war with another country and not with our own citizens. We must cast aside race, religion and caste differences and be together as one united nation."

The President underscored the importance of developing the child's psyche to value and appreciate true patriotism, morals, values and norms of the nation, without being confined solely to physical development.

He had directed the authorities in the education sector to ensure that quality teachers are available not only in the Western Province but also in the other under-privileged regions of the country such as Hambantota, Ampara, Polonnaruwa and Anuradhapura.

"We have allocated Rs.500 million for infrastructure development in villages. However, we will pursue development while protecting the environment. We will ensure that the cities as well as the villages are protected environmentally," the President added.

Anagarika Dharmasekera who made the main commemoration speech, urged workers to refrain from engaging in strikes at their workplaces demanding wage hikes, as that would have a detrimental impact on President Rajapaksa's efforts of solving the crucial national issues at this decisive moment.
