Revolutionary Post Paid Packages From Tigo With Lowest Call Rates

Sri Lanka's third largest mobile phone operator Tigo has introduced three revolutionary post paid packages to celebrate their first year anniversary. Sri Lanka's first mobile telephone operator Celltel was re branded to Tigo last January.

These three packages are bundled with the lowest outgoing call rates up to date among all mobile phone operators in Sri Lanka. These Tigo post paid packages are code named as t1, t2 and t3.

t1
Outgoing (any network) - Rs.3
Outgoing (Tigo) - Rs.1
SMS (any network) - Rs.1
Minimum usage/month - Rs. 1000
(No rentals)
Incoming - FREE

t2
Outgoing (any network) - Rs.3
Outgoing (Tigo) - Rs.2
SMS (Tigo) - Rs.1
SMS (non Tigo) - Rs.2
Minimum usage/month - Rs. 750
(No rentals)
Incoming - FREE

t3
Outgoing (any network) - Rs.3
Outgoing (Tigo) - Rs.3
SMS (Tigo) - Rs.1
SMS (non Tigo) - Rs.2
Minimum usage/month - Rs. 1000
(No rentals)
Incoming - FREE

The advantage is there are no fixed rentals in these three packages. Therefore we need to spend only for calls and sms while incoming is totally free. But in all other networks we need to pay at least Rs 200 per month to make packages incoming free.It is a wastage because we cannot use that amount for making calls or sms.
However we need to concern about the coverage of Tigo all around Sri Lanka.Although they have not revealed the number of towers that Tigo maintain, I have noticed that now Tigo is eager to setup their own towers where ever Mobitel and Dialog already installed towers as a result of their recent investment in Sri Lanka.
