A powerful claymore bomb blast has been reported at Welioya- Athawatunawewa this afternoon around 3.40 pm. Target was a bus belonging to Sri Lanka Traveling Board which was transporting innocent civilians from Anuradhapura to Janakapura.According to the available information LTTE has set up this claymore bomb on a tree near Kobbakaduwa junction in Velioya-Ethawatunawawe It is reported that 12 persons have died and another 17 including children are injured from this incident.Those who have injured have been taken to Padaviya hospital and later 6 of them hav been transferred to Anuradhapura
