It is reported that recent undersea internet cable cut which has caused a great internet slowdown in south Asian countries including India and Sri Lanka may take three weeks or even more to fully recover. Last Tuesday several ships have anchored in a different place from their usual location near Alexandria in Egypt. Although the reason for this is still not clear, it has damaged undersea internet cable in several locations.Flag Telecom, the owners of this undersea cable has already set off some repairing ships already but no one can guarantee how long it will take to fully recover as still the damge is not fully analyzed.
